If you are looking ahead in order to plan a session for your newborn, it’s a good idea to try to book before your baby arrives. Best results are usually achieved within the first 2 to 3 weeks. And if you want shots of baby with the umbilical clip still attached, remember that usually comes off within the first 5 days. I’m aware a certain amount of flexibility is needed, as babies have a habit of coming any time either side of due date.
Baby is best dressed in a plain, one-piece outfit, although even better results are usually achieved if he or she is naked. Parents, too, are best dressed in plain clothes. And have at least one change standing by - wee, pooh, sick and dribble are all part of being a new parent!
I won’t give you a timescale for a baby session. We have to work at the baby’s pace, allowing for feeds, changes and general infant requirements. So, whatever happens, we’ll just go with it.

If you’re looking at this information you’ve either looked round the site and decided this could be something for you, or you’re looking at prices first, as you already have an idea what your budget is. Either way, I can assure you I won’t be the cheapest you’ll find, but I doubt I’ll be the most expensive either. What I can also assure you is that you will be investing in bespoke artwork, prepared using the finest materials. All prints are made using professional grade archival paper and inks for superior colour, detail and quality.
Package price: £300
This includes my time on the day, travel*, post-production, one 10x8 print, one 7x5 print and up to 5 images prepared as low-res files for you to upload to social network sites or email to relatives.

Other sizes are available if you wish to go larger. Images can also be prepared as a canvas or perspex print in various sizes.
